Cheerfulness & A Gift Certificate

Today I'm excited because I'm guest posting over at the Teachers' Lounge; click {here} to go there and read all about Building Kindness.

I'm also tickled that Shannon from Sweet Blessings made this mini-poster from a suggestion I sent her; don't you just LOVE it?  Passing along cheerfulness is a sure-fire way to start the kindness movement rippling out!  Click the image to be transported to more amazing, free printables for your classroom or office courtesy of this talented tech teacher!

Last but not least, I'm really over-the-moon that I have a $25 gift certificate to give away compliments of Really Good Stuff  to one of my lucky readers. The only stipulation is that you HAVE to spend it all at once . . .
where is that easy button?

My kids LOVE to press the easy button after we solve a problem!

You have SIX chances to win!
1.  Just leave a relevant comment below today, tomorrow, Thursday and/or Friday (every comment = one entry for a total of up to four entries).
2. LIKE the RGS  Facebook page (one entry).
3.  Leave a comment on the RGS Facebook page (one entry).
Just let me know that you've done #2 & #3 when you comment for your extra entries!

This Cheerful Giveaway will close Friday night (July 6) at 10 pm (central).  We'll put all of the entries into the Gruener Generator and announce the winner on our Saturday Songs post.
Say it with me:  That was easy!

Cheerfulness - the gift that keeps on giving!

  1. As always, I enjoyed your post. I have the book you referred to. I used it when we did 12 acts of Christmas kindness this last year, but I sure don't want to limit it just to Christmas.

  2. I love that there are children who see such needs in the world today and show kindness by offering others things before themselves. Having children show kindness on their own without being told to do so is a great accomplishment for those teaching these children in the world today.

  8. I NEED AN EASY BUTTON! What a great idea! I would love to use it after doing problem-solving (especially with the 5th & 6th grade girls who seem to have the most problems getting along with each other)....showing them that it is easy to see that we all want the same thing (to be treated with respect) and then push that easy button would hopefully get them on the right track to independent problem solving and conflict resolution. :)
