Listening intently and truly paying attention to those in your proximity. When you do that- you are present and when you are focused and in the moment those near you know- they trust, they reciprocate and this in turn cultivates mindfulness. For me staying aware and kind means everything.iteacherimotherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01419003490107153847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4647389869700092299.post-45823818139871368892018-07-29T17:22:35.348-05:002018-07-29T17:22:35.348-05:00I try to practice what I preach. ☺️ Breathing and...I try to practice what I preach. ☺️ Breathing and realizing I have time and supports to help me through are key. However, there are beautiful moments when I tell myself to stop and enjoy the present through my 5 senses as I remind myself, there will be a day in the coming year (that is uncomfortable, miserable, "too much") that I will fiercely wish for this moment to be back so I need to stop and enjoy it. I am always glad I did!Tanyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14642332390873996719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4647389869700092299.post-29327095442169710592018-07-28T06:40:18.059-05:002018-07-28T06:40:18.059-05:00For me, I stay in the moment by actively listening...For me, I stay in the moment by actively listening and not adding in distractions duch as music especially in my counseling sessions with students!!AnnMarie BIrsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01056287573111503136noreply@blogger.com
