Three Cheers For Character

Do you know about Dr. Jean? If you don't, then do yourself a favor and check out her blog! Every time I speak, I share with the participants how much kids L.O.V.E. to be cheered for and cheer for one another. Look at my keynote address audience in Hamilton Township School District enJOYing the roller coaster cheer. Get yourself an empty Cheer box, print off these cards, appoint a daily cheerleader, and see what happens to your classroom climate!

  2. I am cheering for YOU, Barbara!

Red Ribbon Week was a big success! There were red socks with my red hat today. We had nifty red glitter pencils. Words to live by... Sign a promise: Count on me to STAY drug-free! (We talked about how easy it is for our younger classmates to BE drug-free... but as you get older and there is more pressure, can you STAY drug-free?)
There were some great character-based banners and other things at Positive Promotions. We had a GIANT red ribbon with character traits in our meeting area. Loved it!

You were with me in spirit all week! Thanks, BlogFriend!

  3. Sounds like a blast, Kim! Now you have to write all of that down and send some pictures along with the narrative to enter the Positive Promotions RR week contest. We won 2nd place last year - $200.00! Go to their website to get the entry form; they have a section called contests.

SO glad it was such a successful week and I appreciate the shout out!
