a fishy tale, of sorts.

Opening Page:
Why I like this book: The illustrations instantly baited me and reeled me in to the unique and undersea world with which I was totally unfamiliar. I didn't really grow up fishing or care much about fish (except for the yummy fried lake perch that I enjoyed every Friday night growing up!), so this book was not only entertaining with its clever rhyme, but also educational with its
fun fishy facts.
Resources: Use Something Fishy in a poetry unit or to compare and contrast on a double bubble graphic organizer with one of my other favorite fish books.
