We'll Be Fine

Happy day four of Teacher Appreciation Week.

We found out last Friday that the leadership in our school family would be changing and our Administrator picture would look a bit different next year.

And now it's posted.

Wanted:  Principal

So Lynn is going to our Central Office to work with curriculum (a job that she's going to ROCK!), leaving a gaping hole in the middle. I'm sure we'll be fine. Someone amazing will find us (or vice versa) and take the driver's seat. I'm sure we'll be fine. Still, it hurts a little because saying goodbye is difficult. I'm sure we'll be just fine. And change can be scary.
But we're survivors and I am sure we'll be FiNe!

And change can also be a good thing, right?  Still, why would you want to change what works?  I can embrace change with the best of them, I think, but what if the change doesn't embrace me?  Have I already said that I'm sure we'll be fine?  So for now, I'm a bit befuddled about what the future holds for our Admin team and our school family. I'm sure we'll find a strong character educator to fill Lynn's shoes.  Still, she's likely to be taking her shoes, which is probably best. In the end, I imagine we'll be just fine.
But, in the meantime, feel free to go ahead and pray that
we'll be fine.

  1. It's tough losing a principal you love. I feel for you. hang in there. Hopefully something great will come out of it.

  2. My principal is retiring. She's been so good to me, letting me teach the way I believe is right. It's not easy to say goodbye. It will be fine, right?
