Abraham Lincoln said this about life:
It's not the years in your life that count.
It's the life in your years.
It's not the years in your life that count.
It's the life in your years.
An oldie but a goodie, The Living Years by Mike and the Mechanics challenges us to take a good look at how we choose to spend the time we have. I picked it as today's inspirational song, the fourth in this Saturday Songs Series, because it resonates with me
and makes me wonder:
Is there an apology I need to make or someone I need to forgive?
Hi Friend:
ReplyDeleteThis song always makes me cry...
Have you ever heard of "apology of action"? I can't remember where I read about it... It's more than saying I'm sorry--it's making up the damage done. I think it's from the people who publish the Morning Meeting book. Guesses?
I'm sorry I missed commenting on so many of your wonderful posts. One afternoon this summer, I want to sit in Starbucks all afternoon and read and enjoy...
Happy day!
Kim
