Chosen ... It's A Girl Thing!

Today I'm excited because I'll be leading a breakout at a day conference hosted by our church for moms and/or special mentors and their
 fifth-through-eighth-grade daughters called 
Chosen ... It's A Girl Thing. 
My session is 
Friendship Matters: Finding Friends That Fit.
Oh how I wish we'd have done this with Kaitlyn was in that age group. 
We're going to dissect the recipe for Amish Friendship Bread before the pairs work independently to write their recipes for friendship. After we compare them, we'll see how closely they match our Bible verse 
{Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—
think about such things. ~Phil 4:8}. 
Then the mentors will challenge the girls to a friendly game of Family Feud before we launch listening to the ballad Friends by Michael W. Smith.
I can't wait!
