Today I'm celebrating my 900th post at the Corner.
That's a lot of words. And links to inspiration.
Thank you for being with me on this journey.
Are you ready for some RAKs this week?
If someone asked you what the world needs more of,
what would you say?
Peace?
Joy?
Cheerfulness?
Honesty?
Respect?
Kindness?
Obedience?
Encouragement?
Forgiveness?
Hope?
Meet Hannah Brencher. Her answer to that question?
The World Needs More Love.
I suspect you'll love her story!

This week leading up to Valentines Day 2014, I'm going to focus on random planned ways to share kindness and love.
Everyday People, Everyday Kindness.
How will you celebrate Random Acts Of Kindness Week?
Tomorrow I'll be celebrating CREST winners with my friend and colleague Sharon, then presenting a breakout session at the Texas Counseling Association conference. If you're in the neighborhood, come by the Westin Galleria and dance with us from 2:45 until 4:15.
This week promises to be one of a kind!

Congratulations-that's a lot of posts! :) I loved that video-thank you for sharing that. I am a firm believer in writing letters and thank you notes-especially in this changing world of technology. I need to think about what I will do this week.

My pleasure, Miss T! I am a firm believer in hand-written notes, too, and I remain hopeful that it's an art form that people like this young lady can help us resurrect!
Deletewe did wonderful teacher postcards Friday--kids wrote some kind words of thanks to their teacher and they gave them to the teachers. Then all students were given a bingo card with 16 acts of kindness on it and they were challenged to do as many acts of kindness as they could--trying to fill the board. We also have cauht you being kind cards teachers will hand out when they see a student doing something ecxtraordinare
ReplyDeleteThat sounds wonderful, Jo! LOVE the BINGO card idea.
DeleteThank you for 900 notes of love and encouragement.
