Cape UP for A SUPER Study!

Today I'm feeling super grateful because it marks the beginning of the online book study for my new release. In just six weeks, there are about 1000 copies of
What's Under Your Cape? already in circulation!
Some of my uber-talented, super-kind, special cyberspace collaborators
offered to initiate and lead a professional-development study.
It makes my heart happy, of course, that with so very many professional books with a myriad of targets and topics out there, they would choose a
character-infusion guidebook.

I can't wait to see how these beautiful bloggers plan to use the information in their chapters to help their superheroes soar.
The flight takes off at Curls and a Smile, authored by Lynda Morgart, a 2012 Lamar Consolidated ISD Teacher of the Year.
Click her blog's smiley graphic below to read Lynda's launch.

Here's the super schedule for the first half of the book.

On Monday, Lynda and Melissa will each review chapter one. Won't it be interesting to see the chapter through two distinct lenses, one character educator here in TX, another out west in CA.

On Wednesday, Amy will share her thoughts from MI about unconditional love, affirmations and appreciations.

On Friday we head to WI and out to AZ to hear from
Lisa and Misty so you'll get a first-grade teacher's perspective as well as a sixth-grade teacher's point of view on perseverance and 'stick-to-it-tiveness'!

On Sunday, fly to OH to elevate empathy with Kate to see what she has on her heart and in mind for her second-grade superheroes.

And then Tuesday, the 22nd, it's time to join Tiffani out in Northern CA to see how she will engage her Kinders in the book. Amy from FL will also review respect, the golden chapter.

If you're not a blogger but you're reading along,
please visit the book's Facebook page
to share your reflections and enrichment ideas
in the comments section of each post,
which will link up as soon as it goes live.

Check out the collection of superhero-themed stuff
at the book's Pinterest page, too ... if you're pinterested.

More tomorrow; who's ready to Cape UP?
