Our Teacher Tell Overture

Some years back, Anita Renfroe's Momisms song (set to the tune of the William Tell Overture) inspired and intrigued me. How did she memorize all of those words AND sing them SO fast? The lyrics are so funny and SO incredibly T.R.U.E. I really thought that teachers ought to have their own version of this fast-paced craziness, so, for fun, I worked off and on all summer on my attempt to encapsulate the job of an educator. I asked our videographer (Emmy-award-winner Joe Perez) to film it so I could use it as a launch into a new school year. And, while some of it is back-to-school specific, most of the content is about routine, day-in, day-out stuff for a teacher. Starbucks anyone?
Here now, my rendition of the Teacher Tell Overture:

  2. LOOOOVVVVVEEEEEDDDD it!
That's quite a quandary: Nap vs Starbucks... Might have to go with Starbucks because the coffee may keep me awake a little longer to do a little more! (Or to blog a little more?!)
You made my day with this one... Oh! And I LOVED the state test verse too!

    Happy weekend... and happy napping!
