Always Be Considerate

As many of you know, yesterday was Jacob's high school graduation.
And guess what?
I didn't even cry.
It was a joyous day
of celebration and contentment
of gratitude and pride.

Jacob has been blessed with some wonderful memories and friends, and we will always be thankful for his years in FISD. Here he is with his best buds.

We graduated 473 students in an hour and a half, so there wasn't time for any awards or big keynote speakers, but it didn't really matter because the three speakers - Valedictorian and co-Salutatorians - did an excellent job of summarizing, encapsulating, and launching. My favorite (and the one moment that I actually did tear up a bit) was when Andrew, the Valedictorian, told the standing-room only crowd that he didn't want to give them a bunch of advice they weren't going to need or even remember once they left the room, but he definitely wanted them to
always be considerate.
Enough said!
