So Much To Smile About

Happy September; what are you smiling about today?

We've got so much to smile about. It has been a while since I posted, mostly because we evacuated from a hurricane that was headed our way last week, so that it didn't strand us and keep us from our daughter's wedding.

After the storm turned east and we were able to relax a little,
we enjoyed five very special days in the Texas Hill Country,
savoring family time and celebrating with friends and family.

And then, the day we'd all been waiting for,

the day our little girl got to marry her Prince Charming!

We are so grateful that they got their chance to be celebrated,
that Kaitlyn started her #HappilyEverAdams in an epic setting
under sunny skies (yep, it was 101 degrees!) with her
extended family and compassionate, supportive friends.

My nephew Tanner made masks for the Wisconsin family to wear,
to give Gary a warm welcome to our Pack.

I love that someone snapped this coveted moment
of us during the dinner. So much to smile about.

Thank you, dear reader, for your prayers, kind thoughts,
and notes of congratulations and well wishes.

While we were away, my guest post on our publisher's blog went live; click the image below to read it and to get a sneak peek at our 2021 picture book.

And the SEL Toolkit that I created with Teacher Toni . . .

is now available as a freebie download at TpT {here}.

Enjoy September; I pray you'll find so much to smile about.

Happy brave new {school} year.
